I’ve always been a big supporter of the local fairs. I grew up showing rabbits and sheep, and even entered some art through the 4-H program. Even today, my kids are involved in 4-H. My daughter has been showing goats and is learning the value of hard work and where our food and income come from.   As an adult, I’ve enjoyed showing my artwork in the open show competitions at our two local fairs.  Last year, “Caught” received Best of Show at the Tulelake Butte-Valley Fair.
